How to use VPN PPTP Windows Server behind ASL?

My NetWork :

Router ADSL --> ASL --> Win 2k SRV

Router ADSL :
- External Interface : 80.65.226.54
- Internal Interface : 10.0.0.1

ASL :
- External interface : 10.0.0.2
- Internal Interface : 192.168.0.1

Win 2K SRV :
- Interface : 192.168.0.2

I have apply a Packet filter with GRE and PPTP Service to my Win 2k Server but it doesn't work [:)]

Hello i'm trying to use a VPN PPTP Windows Server behind ASL but i don't succeed. Can someone help me ?

Hi,

i had the same problem - it is caused by Microsofts Servicepack - W95/98 works fine - after installing the new Servicepacks (W2k / XP) the client compares the PPTP Server ip within the GRE Packet - it sends the packet to the astrao and gets it back from the w2k server  - which are not ident !!

the resolution is describet here: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=810839
you have to change the registry as described - thats it
