Net-to-Net from Cable to Cable

Hi,

I'm trying to work out if there is a way to VPN between 2 Astaro boxes both behind dhcp setup cable modems.
Both domains are setup with dynamic dns urls, so being able to specify the url would be perfect.

I think this is not possible. You need to have at least one side with a staic IP address for Net to Net IPSEC. A PPTP connection will work however

Yep, that was my initial thoughts.

I wonder how difficult it would be to get
it to resolve the IP from an url. It would
add traffic of coarse, but slow is better than
nothing.
