IPSec VPN maping a Windows Drive

I have host to net connections X509 from laptops and I want to be able to map Windows drives on the NT server. I have tried this but Windows responds with "can't find host" message.

Any thoughts here, what amd I missing.

Try adding the server to LMHOSTS file.

or use the IP address like \IP-address\Share Name

I have already tried using the \ip address\share format and it didn't work.

What I would try is, try to hook the laptop up locally and see whether you can connect to the server. It might be a Windows issue. What version of windows are you running?
