old dynamic VPN connections will be not deleted

Hello together,

I'm using ASL 3.208 and dynamic host to net vpn connectios. The connections works fine, but when one user finish the connections the astaro do not delete it from connection list and send a "event retransmit" to all those IP's. After a few days that could be over 50 of those zombie links. So
the new users of the old dynamic IP is getting vpn packets and that is in some cases not very funny for them. Anyone know why?

Hi there,

secure shell to your Astaro box and edit /var/chroot-ipsec/etc/ipsec.conf-default.

Under the section conn %default, change keyingtries=0 to keyingtries=1

This way Astaro (frees/wan) will only try to re-establish a connection once (instead of forever).
