Hi all,
we wanted to use SSH Sentinal (with accession) as our VPN client, however we have a small problem.
we have setup our ASLs with Dynamic DNS and Sentinal does a reverse name lookup on the IP and our ISP uses Dynamic gateways also.
here is my problem:
in SSH -> Policy Editor -> VPN Connections -> Properties.
I enter my dynamic DNS name in the "Security Gateway" (myip.no-ip.org) field but then the SSH client does a reverse lookup and changes the field to the ISPs dynamic Host name (p50811B4B.dip.t-dialin.net). Because this HOST is dynamic I have to manually reenter my DNS name everytime the IP on the DSL changes.
This isnt a solution which we can sell.
I have seen (or read) that it is possible to configure W2k+ as a VPN Gateway. However the online documentation jumps around a lot, and a search by microsoft is even less informative.
Anyone have a configuration link?
Basically I need a client that supports DNS Names (without a reverse lookup) or some other solution that supports X509 CERTs dynamically.
To complicate things a bit further our solution calls for the use of USB Tokens so this support MUST be built in.
Anyone have an idea?
