Has anyone got IPSec Roadwarrior working in 3.2 ?

I've spent 4 days trying to get a viable connection working.

The results are discouraging - nothing I change seems to make any difference.    

Does AES really work ?, the only connection I can get (occasionally) is using 3DES. If I do get a connection, there's no traffic over it and it's NOT repeatable...

    it works on my side, but i haven't tested it with AES so far, 3DES only. Make sure you use the latest version of the SSH Sentinel Software

    hey...i have also been stumped concerning setting up a working ipsec connection

    andy...could you list the steps you took including setting up the ca etc.. and exporting it...that would be tremendous

    I've spent 10! days trying to get a connection working = NOT Working     

    Im using the latest SSH Sentinel client.
    3DES AES you name it,, it doesnt work for me   [:(]

    Thanks for the input - I changed to SSHSentinel1.3.2.exe on the second day of my testing.

    I would really appreciate a description of the steps you took to get your Roadwarrior VPN working, if you have some time.

    I was able to generate the CERTs based on what O|iver put together, with some manual adjustments, but I just can't get a repeatable, reliable VPN connection, much less an IP assignment or any data transfer.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    i am still stumped here as well....i have tried PSK, CA none of them work!!

    I have my pptp up and running but I would really like to get IPSEC up as well to give me as many options as possible

    can someone please list the steps to take with ssh and astaro...

    this should be from start to finish including setting up the packet filter rules and CA...to the settings in ssh....

    i am almost ready to give up....cummon guys/gals I know people out there have ipsec working in 3.2...please share the wealth

    Hi guys, 

    just some small notes to get roadwarrior up and running.

    Use Hostname or Email instead of IP as IPSec Identifier.
    PSK can only use IP as ID.

    If you wan't to use AES, you can do so but only for the IPSec SA, IKE SA is still 3DES.
    This is due to FreeS/WANs Pluto.

    And yes I got it up and running.

    If anyone (but please just one) wants to put up his configuration I will take a look at it.

    It works nice and smooth for me.
