Hello.
I am an Astaro 3.200 licensed home user and I am trying to set up a VPN tunnel with a friend of mine. He is using an Astaro 3.200 firewall as well and seems to be having a bit more luck with the initial setup but we can't figure out what is going on with my side of the tunnel. We are both cable modem users and have static IP's.
I have enabled the Live Log and when I turn up my global IPSec settings nothing seems to happen at all. When I turn it down, I get the following messages:

When I enable the Global IPSec setting, I am able to enter a connection and I have in fact done so. The connection we have set up is "standard" type, "3DES" policy, and uses RSA Authentication. I can enable the connection (green light) but in no case do I get any information in VPN Status or VPN Routes section, whether or not there is a connection or it is enabled/disabled. I was under the impression that this section would have at least some information at all times. The exact messages in these sections are:

So far I have tried restarting the server and shutting down and starting the connection and IPSec settings. I have no other entries in any of my log files except the above and I have not tried IKE debugging because I am not familiar with it.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I would be glad to try them. Thank you!
