pptp help

I am able to connect via road warrior.  In the VPN properties I set the DNS server a an internal address, but it defaults to the primary connection and not the VPN settings.  Its a windows 2000 machine.  I am able to ping all the hosts except the pptp-pool broadcast address.  I also setup a wins server and am able to use that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The same occurs here..  VPN is active, but no hostname will resolve because the DNS server on the subnet that is being connected to isn't questioned!!  Of course, this DNS server is correctly passed from astaro to the Windows Client.  Any ideas?
