PPTP with a Linux Client to the asl....

Hi all,

i'm trying to connect from my Notebook (RedHat 7.2,
Kernel 2.4.17 (with PPTP Patch),
pppd 2.4.1 (with mschapv2 and the mppe Module))
to my ASL at home. On the ASL PPTP Log i have the
following:

pppd 2.4.0 started by (unknown), uid 0
Mar 5 09:26:48 asl pppd[31149]:Using interface ppp0
Mar 5 09:26:48 asl pppd[31149]:Connect: ppp0  /dev/ttyp0
Mar 5 09:26:52 asl pppd[31149]  eer refused to authenticate: terminating link
Mar 5 09:26:52 asl pppd[31149]:Connection terminated.

On the ASL i have the following Configuration:

Enable PPTP
Encryption 128 Bit
Network: 10.111.193.0
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Rules: From PPTP Service any to Server any allow

On the Client:

I have installed the PPTP Client for Linux 1.0.3-1
In /var/log/messages i see the more or less
the same...

any ideas?

Thanks

Roland
