connecting asl firewall and alcatel modem via pptp

Has anyone made a PPTP tunnel between an Alcalel ADSL-Modem (speed touch home) and the ASL Firewall? I might want to use ASL as my Firewall for my ADSL Internet Connection, but i first want to know if someone has already gotten the connection to work.

I think you are looking at succesfull PPPoE connection between ASL and the ALCATEL Modem rather than PPTP (which is a VPN service).

Version 3.030 BETA has PPPoE support.

But can't tell you if someone has succefully made that setup work.

Hello,
I can say to you, It work properly.

I use ASL 3.030 with an Alcatel Home speed touch in PPPOE and it work without any prob.

Are you french?

Hi, thanks for the answers. I am from Austria and our providers only supports pptp. Where can i download version 3.xxx. I think, I want to try with this version.
