MS VPN -> ASL via cable

I'm having problems with the MS VPN client.
Generally, is no problem with connections, unless the source PC is on cable (blueyonder UK), when I can connect, but cannot ping anything inside the ASL network once connected.
I don't route to any other network via the VPN.
