IP Addresses Given Out v2.016

On my test network, I use static IP addresses. I put my Astaro machine on our local network and set up the VPN PPTP functionality. What I need to do is limit the IP's that the VPN gives out. Specifically I want to limit them to 192.168.0.225 - 192.168.0.230

Is there a way to do this?

Also, how do you limit the number of connections that can be made to the PPTP VPN connector?

Thanks,
Robert Birch

  • rbirch,

define a PPTP pool or change the existing one
    to your needs.

The limit is the number of IP addresses your firewall
    is able to assign.
If you provide a range of for example 4 addresses,
only 4 concurrent connections can be established.
