cant resolve names in PPTP

Hey guys...

I am getting a good PPTP connection and I can use the IP address and log into my server but it isn't resolving names internally. I am masq to the internet ok but if I were to type in //server it wont find it.
I do have the WINS and DNS setup to the internal SERVER but it isn't working..

any ideas?

i think you have config your client pptp-tcp-settings allright (dns-server, wins-server) then test it with \ip\share [:)]s and so on....

I had the exact same problem.
When I disabled "Use default gateway on remote server" It all started working smoothly.
To do that you go to, in the VPN properties, Networking / TCP/IP properties / advanced / General

To do that you go to, in the VPN properties, Networking / TCP/IP properties / advanced / General
