Want to know if ther's a way to authenticate IPSEC roadwarior vpn clients in a way that each user have all the same shared secret password but have to enter a username and password in order to connect. (I would be happy even if we could have a different shared secret for each roadwarrior vpn client...)
On Cisco PIX it's called Extended Authentication.
I'm using Soft-PK Ipsec Client (same as Cisco PIX and netscreen) I say some documentation but it dosen't look like we can authenticate users on ASL 2.0 when using IPSEC vpn for roadwarrior users. That meen that if an employe quit the job, we have to change the shared secret password in ASL and change it on ALL roadwarrior clients... since we have around 30 of them, it's painfull! Immagine 30 hangry people (salesman) calling you at 9:00am saying that you are a stupid jerk because vpn is not working.....
maybe i'm a jerk :-) but i don't think so...
