  • Same problem here. ASL 2.016 and W2K SP2 (German). If I try to connect several times it works sometimes.
  • hi guys,

are you using a fresh installation of asl or and updated from 1.8?

what are yout settings in win2k properties?

What does the pptplog tell you?

    kind regards

    Gert
  • I had similar problems with new PPTP accounts. I tried a lot of different approaches. Finally I decided to change password of user account.

First i changed password into one letter one. Account that didn't work earlier worked ok.

Then i gradually added one letter into password and tested account. After adding some letters until after 5th or 6th character account stopped responding. I deleted the last character and it worked again. Then I added different character and it worked too.

I didn't find any pattern which passwords we're not accepted or which characters.
