Finding an unusual problem using a Nortel VPN client from a machine inside my network to a host on the Internet. Even with keepalive turned on, the firewall does not seem to allow the connection to stay active once idle for a few minutes. There is also no indication that the VPN connection has been dropped--it simply stops working.
Using a different firewall I am not seeing this behavior.
Right now I have a packet filter rule set to allow any internal to any external. Any ideas?
