PPTP Fails

Okay, I enabled PPTP, setup an account w/ password. Went to win98, dial-up networking, created a new connection, VPN Adapter. But when I try to connect it just says, eror 629, diconnected from the computer you dialed. Any ideas guys? Thanks!

HI Brandon,

which version of asl are you using,
there is a fix for pptp and win98 in the 2.012 up2date package.
that removes the domain in front of username, sent bei windows98. did you upgrade win98 ras to support mschapv2?

don't use spezial characters in your password until the 2.017 is released. there is a bug in 2.016!
