PPTP Routing/Probleme

Hi there.. 

Have installed ASL 1.951 on a firewall box, with 2 network adapters..

The Intern NIC has ip 192.168.1.1, and the pptp pool is 192.168.2.0/255.255.255.0, when the clients connect to the server, they get an IP from the pool, 192.168.2.2 > 253, and it works..

BUT i'm not able to ping anything on the 192.168.1.0 network and the other way around..

I tried putting in some rules from intern-net to pptp-pool in filter rules, but doesnt seem to work..

If i define an IP address for the users in Definition/Users, etc 192.168.1.15, then i works just fine...

Please give me a hint..

    I have a similar problem. 
    I can connect to the server via pptp. 
    The user is configured to use a Specific IP in the same range as the internal side of the server (I.E Server IP 192.168.8.15 PPTP Client 192.168.8.12) 
    Internally there are Vlans that use a 192.168.X.1 scheme so when the connection is made the Client gets its Correct IP but nothing ever gets past the server because the Server IP listed in the Connection details is 192.168.8.1 the default route.

    How can the PPTP server IP be changed?

    Does the ASL FW ruleset apply to the PPTP connection?

    I think you need to set the netmask for the ethernet interface to 255.255.0.0
