I've downloaded ASL 1.8 and burned the CD and now I'm waiting for the arrival of the computer to install it onto. So at the moment I have no experience with ASL, but it looks as if it will be a good solution for our situation. But some questions:
1. We have some road warriors with notebooks using a local ISP (with dynamic IP adresses assigned) to get an internet access. They use WindowsNT. On the other hand we have here some modems for dial-in-purposes (when no ISP is available). Can we establish a VPN with this users? Is it possible to connect the modems to the ASL-box and to give dial-in-access to the road warrios?
2. We have here some SAP R/3 servers. For access from outside or to other SAP-systems we need a saprouter. Is it possible to install this on the ASL-box? Or is it a better solution to have it on a computer behind (or outside?) the firewall? What rule would be neccessary to allow the saprouter get connection to another saprouter?
I know, some aspects of these questions were already discussed here, but I couldn't get all relevant points.
