vpn and radius ?

Maybe a stupid question,

but is it possible to use Radius to control, how is able to establish a vpn - connection through astaro in our network ? (astaro as fw and Windows 2000 as Radius-Server)
(The User should enter his domain-password to enter the network)

Or do we have to use a W2K - Server as VPN - Server (Ipsec oder pptp) ?

Hi koflert,

not for IPsec but ASL 2.0 will support Raduis for PPTP.

They currently only do tunnel authentication. What you want is user-authentication for network access for users coming trough the tunnel like for instance with the Cisco VPN 3000 series.
