I am hoping I have the right place.. I have been so disgusted with Sophos. I got it installed when I bought the PC.. I let Staples talk me into it and believing it was so great. Well, it wasn't anything McAfee was (that I had before). Anyway, long story short...I want a different antivirus/protection program...so.. how do I un-install Sophos? I have done the Programs/Uninstall etc way that I uninstall everything else and it wouldn't take it off. I talked to somewhere at Sophos and they said I had to take my PC back to Staples since that is where I got it and have them take it off. I can't take the PC back to Staples for a few reasons, plus... why do I have to pay to have them take it off?
Does anyone know how to uninstall it? I have Win 7 on an HP PC. I am novice so the "version for dummies" would be appreciated.
