Windows 10 preview and Endpoint Protection

People using Windows 10 preview seem to be scrambling to find antivirus software that will work.  I tried several after reading Windows Defender doesn't work very well.  Sophos Endpoint Protection did install and is working fine from what I can tell.  Just a heads up for anyone using Windows 10 and looking for antivirus software that will work.

    I installed Windows 10 in a VM soon after it was released to the public. I installed Sophos Endpoint Protection (from my UTM) soon after that. It disabled Windows Defender.

    I have been through quite a few Windows 10 updates (it is configured for fast releases). There has not been any serious problems except:

    * Every time I reboot the Windows 10 VM and login, a dialog box appears, warning that Windows Defender is disabled.

    * Whenever I run a Sophos Endpoint Protection scan, many Windows dialog boxes appear, prompting for an admin password to override file protections so that it can scan sensitive operating system files for rootkits. The scan pauses for each dialog box. Not nice.
