[SUGGESTION] Endpoint Protection with Web Filtering

I was trying to enable Endpoint Protection in the UTM, however, it kept failing with timeout errors (the logs showed socket errors). After spending some time on Google and the forums, I found that the Web Filtering that I've enabled on the UTM was blocking the connection. Everything was resolved after I've added the Sophos LiveConnect to the Transparent mode skiplist (source and destination).

May I make a suggestion that this is done automatically whenever Web Filtering is enabled.

Does your UTM not have the following Exception?

You can, but you're only suggesting it to other users, NOT to anyone with Sophos. This is a user-to-user forum, not a means of contacting anyone at Sophos.

Feature requests can be made at UTM (Formerly ASG) Feature Requests: Hot (2079 ideas).

Per Bob above, there should already be a default exception on your system.

I do have it. I removed the exception and everything works. I wonder if this has something to do with the connection issue I had during the same time.
