Free Endpoint Protection Licenses

I'm using Sophos UTM Home Edition and under Endpoint Antivirus license, it says the following (attached). What is meant by licensed users and free users?

    The two free users are by default with the UTM installation.  The additional 10 license are from your UTM License file that you have loaded, which was given after Endpoint was released for home use licensing.  It's essentially just what was added after the Endpoint release in UTM.

    So does that mean that I can install the license on 12 machines at my home? Or just 2?

    Total of 12 if you have your home license installed that includes the 10 additional licenses for Endpoint (which are given free for home users).  The two are just the two base 'client licenses' that are stock with UTM.

    So yes, you can install it on 12 machines total.
