Is there a way to manually add exceptions...

For the infamous Sophos Mal/HTMLGenA generic "Oh I think this needs to be blocked today" issue?

I woke up this morning after being sick all week long to visit some of my favorite sites just to be riddled with this, after going to the same site for years.

I have already spent the morning doing the submissions on the Sophos websites, which they are NOT looking at.  In the mean time, is there another solution?  There's one thing that I really dislike and that is no control over my own access here at home, and this is really the one thing I have always disliked about the product... but if I have to find a different solution to implement, then so be it.  I've tried to add exceptions where I think they need to go, yet I can't access it.
