Device Control issue with Windows Phone

Hi folks.

Running a Sophos UTM at one of my customers, i recently experienced an issue with Endpoint Protection's Device Control:


I implemented a group, where any device is blocked through Sophos Endpoint Protection when it is connected to the PC Endpoint is running on.

Everything works fine and everything got blocked.

Since a few employees took their Mobile Devices with them running Windows Phone, Device Control allows the connection to the PC even the Data transfer. That's horrible!


Any experience with that or how to fix it?

    I would open a support case regarding this; while some Sophos employees do peruse this site from time to time, the best way to get resolution, if you have a commercial license, would be to contact Sophos Support.
