Windows 8 Action Center

Action center on my windows 8 pro with media center is showing in action center that sophos is not enabled. But checking the endpoint it clearly is. My windows 8 pro with media center desktop in action center is working fine. Same no issues with it could this be a possible action center glitch or would I need to worry or reinstall my endpoint. The shield shows no red x or indicating any issues.

    also getting this error as well. 
    but not sure is if it is because I have turned off tamper protection and changed the endpoints to test them.

    Did you install using the full install package or the slim installer?  If it was the former, try uninstalling the endpoint and reinstall using the slim installer.

    Trying to uninstall and install using the slim. I will post the results after this. It did have eset smart security 5 on it before. But that was removed.

    Ok it shows active now device control is missing on the endpoint is that normal or will it re appear soon?

    Just curious if anyone has a answer to my question? Also after reinstalling I lost device control. Am I still protected with out it appearing in the endpoints anymore?

    Just checking back on this post to see if anyone else has had to bug where it shows that windows is not protected see attached screen shot. But I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and still get the same message. So Just curious if I should not worry about it or just disable it.

    It happens to me once in a while on Windows 8 64-bit and 32-bit.  What I do is open the options (button there in Action Center) and tell it to enable Sophos on both AV and Spyware even though Sophos appears to be on and running.  After a few minutes, Windows stops being stupid and turns back into 'I think I can' and the errors don't show until the next time.
