I installed version 9 2 weeks ago. I than proceeded to setup endpoint sec.
It went like a breeze. I removed the sophos from the xp client that was setup with Sophos enterprise. Installed UTM version, it registered and remained online for a week. It than was offline for 6 days. Yesterday I spent the day removing and reinstalling. Reseting it on the utm and never could get it registered. Fimally today I removed it and searched the entire system and registry for sophos. I removed everything I could find. I did find under allusers a bunch of stuff for sophos. After that I could finally install and than it connected and registered. I think the uninstall may be leaving things behind. Now it is time to wait and see if it stays online. If 10.2 is the most current it did not update to that but sits at 10.0.8. I guess time will tell what happens.

    10.2 is the support version for Windows 8 and Server 2008/2012.  It has not been released yet for UTM users that I know of. A lot of us are still waiting for it, as we were told it was to be available after the official release date for Windows 8.  One of the administrators posted that it was in QA, so hoping we see it soon.

    Well everything looked good there for about a week and now again it has been offline. I have rebooted the workstation as well as the Astaro. I even tried 9.0.0.4 firmware to see if that would resolve it. The client has nothing blocked and wise open. I just don't think this product has been fully baked.
