Endpoint Protection not updating or showing in UTM

I installed a new endpoint over the weekend and one on Friday, neither show up in the UTM and in the updating log I get

Sophos AutoUpdate could not continue because no valid update locations were defined.

I tried to run the installer again but still didn't take, configure updating has no details and is greyed out so I can't copied the details from another machine.

Any idea how to fix this?

  • delete everthing "sophos'' from your pc after uninstalling, in registry two 
    Restart the pc and insall from the "full download" link 
    It worked for my after waiting 3 days and nothing [:)]

    i figured out this with a new pc that never used sophos antivirus before
