How to decrease installed licenses?

I tried out Endpoint Protection in UTM 9 using several PCs for test purpose. But when I uninstall a client, the number of used licenses does not decrease. How to fix that?

  • Have you unistalled the client from the pc and from the UTM as well?
  • Thanks! That was missing, I thought a client would report itself as being uninstalled and so detected by the UTM.

    This is how I successfully deleted the client and released the license:

    1.
    Stop all "Sophos" services (using services.msc)

    2. 
    Uninstall in that order:
    Sophos Antivirus
    Sophos Auto Update
    Sophos Management Communication System

    3. 
    Delete hidden folder "C:\ProgramData\Sophos"

    4.
    Delete the computer in UTM web interface under
    Endpoint Protection -> Computer Management -> Manage Computers
    It then takes some time until the registration of that computer is undone.
