Endpoint updates

It does not appear there is any way to have clients get updates from the UTM and have only the UTM get the updates from Sophos via the Internet.

Is this how UTM endpoint protection is supposed to be deployed in the Enterprise?

I was expecting this to be similar to Sophos Enterprise management where the clients can be configured to get updates from an Enterprise Sophos system.

This obviously won't scale out if 10,000+ clients all have to get updates from the Internet.

Hopefully I'm missing something [:)]

    You are correct that there is not a way to do this in v9.

    I was expecting this to be similar to Sophos Enterprise management where the clients can be configured to get updates from an Enterprise Sophos system.
    Endpoint in v9 is not meant to replace Enterprise Console, but instead is meant for those who do not have Enterprise Console.  You also notice that the UTM v9 implementation is lacking other features that SEC offers.

    This obviously won't scale out if 10,000+ clients all have to get updates from the Internet.
      In its' current implementation, UTM v9 will only scale out to 2000 clients, with a UTM 625.

    As the integration matures over time (v9.1 and beyond), more features will be added, as well as scaling to larger numbers of clients, which will lessen the differences with SEC.
