Endpoint & Auth-agent ?

Just did a fresh install of the ver 9 to a new machine.
Did a restore of previous 8.xx (current) and all's fine.

Also removed the AA agent and installed the Sophos counterpart instead;
Still OK.

But, deploying the Endpoint protection made ALL access through the Proxy and/or the Auth-agent stop working. 
Running without proxy checked = OK,
with proxy checked = No Go when end-point is installed.

I've changed to policy to be NOT active for websecurity in the end-point agent, no difference.

  • Given that you are a partner, I'd start a case with Support (they certainly should be interested in this)... what happens if you leave the endpoint installed, but just disable it?

    Have you tried adding the EXE for the AA module to the "authorized" apps list in the UTM Endpoint Manager?

    I guess I should start by changing my signature;
    I've sold the company, so,, strictly speaking I/Me, isn't a partner anymore..

    This particular case is my own, home setup that's been installed approx 1 hour now.
    I guess I can try fiddling around to see if anything clears this up. As of now, I get no log, error or reporting of any kind stating something as to why the block occurs.

    With Proxy on = nothing, blank screen.
    With Proxy off = all OK !

    And, it worked until I installed the endpoint part.
    I'll keep testing something, just wanted to make sure I havent missed any basic info like,
    " you can't use both" or something....
