Clients not showing up in Web-IF

Hi!

As the Beta forum is closed now I'm posting in this section again:

I configured EP a few days ago and installed the Client on 5 machines. Although the installation went fine and the clients are getting signature updates, they do not show up in the UTM. The "Manage Computers" tab is empty!

On the Main Screen of Endpoint Protection category in the UTM-Web-IF it states: 
Sophos LiveConnect is disabled. 0 computers registered out of 12 licensed, 0 computers are currently online.


The UTM EP log frequently shows errors 4280 and 4281:

The internet connection is working fine, at least I do not have any client problems in accessing the internet.
The UTM Web Protection is configured in Standard Mode. The Sophos Broker Exceptions are present.

I'm using a home license and reapplied my 8.305 backup after a fresh install of the UTM9 GA release.

What is wrong here?

    I have news on this:

    I've set up a new virtual appliance (test license) and activated Endpoint Protection.
    Then I installed the Full EP package on a test client machine.
    And, yeah, it appears in my test appliance!

    So in my opinion there are 2 possible conclusions:
    1. My reapplied config is faulty
    2. The ID of my UTM is blocked by Sophos

    I will try to find out by reapplying my config (saved with removed host name, certificates, etc.) to my virtual appliance.
    If it then works, it's suggestion 2., if not, it's 1.

    I will post here if i got news.

    If someone from Sophos would like to check my config, I can provide my config via PM or mail.

    OK, here comes the news:

    I made a backup of my UTM with the option "Remove hostname, certificates, etc." set.

    Then I applied this backup to a new host (a virtual appliance that is using the same internet connection).
    And, guess what, it is working!

    So it's neither my ISP blocking something nor is it my V8 config.
    Instead of that it seems that something is faulty with my UTM ID at the Sophos broker/database. It might be because of the problems I had with the UTM9 EP feature during the beta.

    At the weekend I will reinstall my production UTM and reapply the backup mentioned above. Then we will see.
    I will keep you updated.

    Or is there any other way to generate a new UTM ID (not token!)?
