Verizon 3G/4G LTE

I'm trying to propose a plan and am attempting to gather costs. The RED devices were sold to us with the impression that we could use a 3G/4G uplink primarily or for failover. After seeing the extremly small list of compatible devices I'm a bit concerned. 

That said, has anyone in the (US) had any luck using a RED10/50 with a Verizon device? If so which device? 

Can you use the compatible devices listed with multiple carriers? In paricular i found this on Amazon but I'm not sure if Verizon would allow me to use it or not. 

I appreciate any feedback and appologize if this has already been answered.

    Ignitor - I wish you well.  Like you, we tried (and failed) to use a RED10 with a Verizon (Pantech UML290VW “4G LTE&#8221[;)] cell modem.  

    We were successful with fronting the RED10 with a CradlePoint MBR95. 

    Unfortunately, Verizon is now shipping us UML295's - which are not currently supported on the MBR95 firmware (4.3.0).

    This has been our solution as well.  When a site goes down we send in a Cradlepoint MBR1400 with a verizon/novatel PC770 and plug the RED 10 wan port into it until their wired connection is back up.  Works better than expected  but we would prefer to have a working RED10 solution.

    Sophos doesn't seem to have any info on US compatibilty and I've not found any example of this being done successfully in the US.
