Anyone else getting APT alerts en-mass for ocsp.comodoca.com?

We are getting the same thing on all of ours. Versions are broad from 9.407 to 9.411.

Just heard that it is fixed in pattern update  118541  

go to the up2date tab change stting to manual , force an update and then change it back to your usual frequency.

We tried this about 30 mins ago so we are giving the fix some time to bed in to see if things calm down a bit

Not impressed that sophos do not put anything here to help though!!

We have the pattern number 118541  for about 15 mins now but are still getting the alerts. I'll wait and see. 

Pattern 118541 still seems to have the problem, some of our units have reved to pattern 118544, we'll see if that fixes it.

Oh dear just got more alerts.

More duff info from Sophos support.....

Time to look for a decent supplier. :-(

I might be barking up the wrong tree here but I think any https website that has a certificate CA signed by COMODO may be flagging the errors. I have checked a couple of the websites our flagged 'virus' users have been on and a few of them have COMODO certificates

I imagine you are correct because the primary reason for contacting the COMODO CA would be to verify the validity and revocation status of a COMODO cert. So this alert could potentially be triggered by anything that causes a lookup on a COMODO cert.
