Print from internal to External

Hi all,
I am trying to configure a Sophos UTM 9 (home) to allow access from a PC on the internal network to a printer on the external network.

UTM Configuration is:
2 x NICs
Internal Network 10.0.2.*
External Network 10.0.0.*

Computer ip: 10.0.2.2
Printer ip: 10.0.0.78

What rules do I need to setup?

Thanks,
Chris

  • Hi Chris,

External Network is configured as WAN. Here, you have defined a private IP for printer so I think, you want to configure the printer on a separate interface? Can you show me a picture of the Interface page? To get things working you will require a FW-rule LAN>ANY>Destination zone(Anything where the printer is situated).

    Thanks
