Ping between interfaces

Hi

We have an SG210 running UTM 9.406-3, we have 4 interfaces set up - WAN, LAN, DMZ & Voice networks.  From a host on the DMZ I am able to ping some, but not all hosts on my LAN and voice networks.

How can I stop pings between interfaces and why would I be able to ping some hosts but not others from the DMZ?  All the hosts on the LAN I am pinging allow ICMP throught their client firewalls and are ping-able within the LAN.

Many thanks

  • Independently from the situation, that some clients reply to the ping and some not, you can manage the ping behaviour under

"Network Protection" -> "Firewall" -> "ICMP"

If you disable "Allow ICMP through gateway" and "Gateway forwards pings" this should stop pings between the interfaces / networks.
