Download Throttling not working , PLS Help urgent !

hi buddies ,

I have a virtual Sophos UTM testing in its trial period , i have setup everything except Qos.i tried every step i imagined but shaping not works. i followed this guideline :

1. i created a New Traffic Selector , selecting "Any" as source , "Any" service , "My1MbpsUserGroup" as Destination.

2.then i created a New Download Throttling rule bound to EXTERNAL interface and limit to 1024 (i want to limit as 1 Mbps) and select "My1MbpsSelector" as my selector created in the previous step.

3. enabled EXTERNAL interface in Status tab.

now i try but no shaping is applied to my users in My1MbpsUserGroup of AD group . confused , what should i do?

    Hi and Welcome to Sophos Community,

    Are you trying to throttle the bandwidth allocation or restrict bandwidth for a particular group?

    I guess you are trying to define QoS on User entities. Unfortunately, QoS cannot be configured as a User based policy i.e., it can be defined on IP hosts and networks.
