Second Public IP

Hello,

From our ISP, we have four public IP addresses available. At the moment we are using one public IP as the external WAN. Port 4444 is used for external access to the firewall, and port 80 is used for external access to one of our websites.

I am setting up a second web server that will also use port 80, so would like to map this internal server to one of our other public IP addresses.

Can anyone point me to documentation on how to do this please?

Public IP 2 ---> Internal Web Server

Thanks,

Oliver

  • Hi Oliver, in the Interfaces menu, go ahead and visit the "additional addresses" tab. Here you can add the additional addresses provided by your ISP. Some ISPs (ATT GigaPower) make it a little difficult to get this to work but you shouldn't have problems.

Once you've added the additional address, you can make a DNAT rule as usual to forward traffic to the other server.
