How to get WOL working on different subnets?

I've a similar Situation. I try to wake up a NAS in VLAN B from a Computer in VLAN A. Did you found a Solution?

unluckily I wasn't able to find a solution to it yet, but we also pushed the priority on this topic back, so I wasn't really doing much about it.

As i don't expect Sophos to change their UTMs in those regards, i will probably have to think of a different solution, like placing a VM in all subnets and trigger it this way.

the VM is a possible Workaround, but I haven't any VM-Host in these Subnet.

so there must be a Solution (hopefully).

I've created a NAT 1:1 Rule for reaching this VLAN, but maybe wol requires additional a NAT-Rule (SNAT)?

Will try and inform you about Success / Failure.

the SNAT-Rule on Port 9 (should be the wol-Port) don't worked.

Will think about another Solution.

There are different ways to do this.  A command line solution is:

/usr/sbin/ether-wake -i INTERFACE MACADDRESS

There's also the approach described in this thread.

I don't know what skill sets you have available to you, Mika.  Someone adept at SSH and Linux scripts could use the command line approach.  Otherwise, the method described in the thread I linked to is probably a better bet.
