DVR NAT rule setup

I really apologize if I'm asking something that a lot of people already asked but I already read tons of posts and I can't find a solution for my problem.

I'm trying to create a NAT rule to make the DVR accessible from the Internet but I really can't open that port even if the firewall log seems to be ok.

Attached I'm sending a screenshot hoping that someone can help me.

Basically I need to forward the port 2400 from people who access to the public ip address at that port to the internal ip 192.168.1.100 on the same port.

Thanks in advance for every kind of help you will provide me.

  • Hi Christian,

Make 1 small change. Change "Any IPv4" to just "Any". Other than that, I have many DNAT rules setup exactly like this that work perfectly. This is assuming that DVR 2 = port 2400 and DVR = the IP address of your DVR. Give that a try and see if it works.

  • Thank you very much Nash but I already tried everything, including the solution you suggested me.

As I'm configuring the UTM from a remote address and I'm not phisically where the LAN is I guess that there is a connection problem and not a setting one.

I will go there and try to understand what's happened.

    Thanks again.

  • Check to make sure the firewall rule was created properly. I've seen it sometimes where I've had to create the firewall rule myself. When you go to Network Protection -> Firewall, make sure to select "All" instead of "User created" in the drop-down box and you'll be able to see the rule that was created.
