Kommunikation zwischen zwei Netzen (NAT) | Communication between two networks (NAT)

Hallo Community,

Hello Community,

I know myself, unfortunately, with the topic of the Sophos Firewall a little off.

Example screen:

I have 2 Interfaces (eth2 and eth4 to the front connectors connected), which in the Firewall are created (Interfaces & Routing>Interfaces). We call them Network1 and Network2.

Network1 is in the range of IP: 192.168.178.xxx

Network2 is in the IP field: 192.168.177.xxx

How can I manage it that I, for example, the IP 192.168.178.151 (Network1) with the IP 192.168.177.2 (Network2) can communicate?

A representation with the help of pictures I would be very happy

  • Hi, Peter, and welcome to the UTM Community!

(Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at present. [:(])

WebAdmin automatically creates routes between all networks defined on interfaces. All that is needed to allow the two subnets to communicate is a firewall rule like '(Network1, Network2) -> Any -> (Network1, Network2) : Allow'.

    MfG/Cheers - Bob
PS Yours is an example many should follow. Rather than just post the output of a translation program, you included zuerst was Du auf Deutsch geschrieben hattest. I really think that this kind of participation is admirable - welcome again!
