Can't connect to services from LAN to WAN. NAT rules are set per KB, still doesn't seem to work.

I'm just setting Sophos up and haven't had too much trouble that wasn't caused by some small issue, so I'm guessing this is the same. I've went through and set up the NAT Rules, but it's still not working. The domain name can be accessed outside of the LAN just fine, I've had friends connect to it, I've remoted into my school computer and can connect, but I can't connect from LAN to WAN. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • If you have problems with connections from LAN to WAN, this could be a problem of a missing firewall or masquerading rule.
You need a masquerading rule for each local subnet. Also you need a firewall rule for the services which should be allowed from LAN to WAN.
