I'm having an issue where incoming RDP sessions to our RDS server are being dropped intermittently.
From my testing it seems the disconnections occur whenever the WAN link that is receiving these incoming RDP connections is also experiencing high rates of OUTGOING traffic.
It's a ADSL2+ connection so 20/1. When flow monitor shows the outgoing speed for the interface >1Mbit I've witnessed disconnections.
The strange thing is we've only noticed this issue since putting the UTM in place. I guess there's the chance it could be coincidental and internet uploads are just higher but perhaps there's something on the UTM side that is causing these disconnections?
Or perhaps there's something we can do on the UTM to help prioritize RDP traffic?
I've ran Wireshark on both the client and server and it appears the client is sending a TCP reset [RST, ACK].
Has anyone experienced this before and know of any tricks to resolve these RDP session disconnects?
