I understand the QOS for the upload bandwidth and the download restriction, what I don't understand is how do you guarantee a certain amount of bandwidth for an application or device. I would like to make sure that my PS4 has at least 10-20 Mb reserved for it when everyone in the house is streaming movies or downloading things. when everyone is maxing out the the pipes the PS4 will lag and I would like to prevent that if possible. seems like even turning on the QOS settings and creating a download restriction rule and giving the PS4 100MB slows down the connection. my current connection is about 50mb down and 5 mb up. I've looked and looked and can't seem to find an answer. I previously used PFsense and it was very easy to set it up.
thanks.
