Windows Update

Hello
Which countries do have to be unblocked for Windows Update on the UTM.
I have an exception on "Filtering Options" but it is not dowloading the Windows Updates.

    Use exception to exclude windows update from country blocking.
    Choose:
    Skip blocking of these Regions --> Tick all countries
    For all request : going to these
    In host/Networks select "Windows Update". It might be already added in UTM. If not, add following site as regex expression:

    ^https?://([a-za-z0-9.-]*\.)?windowsupdate\.com/
    ^https?://([a-za-z0-9.-]*\.)?microsoft\.com/

    Select "Any" in Using these services.

    Unfortunately, you can't use REGEX or anything other than WebAdmin Host /Network objects there.

    Fischerxx, the list of blocks "To" other countries should be very short, so you shouldn't need any Exception.  Change "All" to "From" in Country Blocking.

    Thank you but I do not want to skip the blocking of the countries.

    Because I block every possible thing what is not needed.
    Only few countries are open and I would wish to keep it like
    that. 
    Therefore I asked for another possibility

    OK, Juan, but then you are stuck with making some exceptions.  In Reporting, 'Web Protection', choose 'Available Reports: URLs' and add filters for 'Action blocked' and 'Info countryblocking'.  Probably for the last week.  Note the FQDNs related to the updates you wanted to get.  Make an Exception for traffic going to DNS Group definitions for the FQDNs.  Does that work for you?
