NAT and logs - Where are they?

Hello,

I was wondering where are located the logs for NAT translations?

I know that there are entries in the (live) Firewall logs but I don't see anything else.

Is there another location?

Regards,

DeltaSM

  • No. Do you have logging enabled for the desired NAT rule?

    Private Setup:

    • XG: HPE DL20 Gen9 (Core i3-7300, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD) | XG 18.0 (Home License) with: Web Protection, Site-to-Site-VPN (IPSec, RED-Tunnel), Remote Access (SSL, HTML5)
    • UTM: 2 vCPUs, 2GB RAM, 50GB vHDD, 2 vNICs on vServer (KVM) | UTM 9.7 (Home License) with: Email Protection, Webserver Protection, RED-Tunnel (server)
  • Yes logging is enabled.

But I think that the logs in the Firewall live log are very poor. We can't even see which translation has been done.
  • If you want to see that, you have to edit the automatic firewall rule and select logging.

    Cheers - Bob
