I have a Synology NAS that backs up content to a remote Synology NAS over an IPSEC VPN-connection using rsync protocol.
I would like to limit the bandwidth used for this traffic.
The source internet connection has an 1 Mbps upstream and this currently gets saturated once the rsync backup starts.
I would like to limit this to say 512 kpbs or maybe 768 kbps (need to test a little as to what is actually workable).
Is it also possible to only limit this during daytime and have full speed at night?
Edit: I now see that I accidentally posted in the wrong forum, maybe a MOD can move it to the QOS subforum...
