Im looking into implementing QOS on our UTM, but what interface should i do it on?
Also im getting confused with the the interfaces? When im setting QOS up should i think of it as always from the UTM, so on the External interface downlink is downloaded to the UTM and Uplink is uplink from the UTM, for the Internal interface is uplink from clients to the UTM and downlink from UTM to Clients?
Having to set QOS bandwidth pools on the UTM is confusing me as the Internal interface shows different traffic that the External Interface, so am unsure what to set and where?
Should I just set up QOS on the External interfaces only? Also as RED tunneling has a virtual interface can I set QOS for that too and should I regard it as another external facing Interface?
Also on the QOS status page i can set the bandwith for each interface, am i right i thinking i set the WAN interace to the speed of my broadband so uplink 2 meg and downlink 8 meg? I also set my RED interface the same as i assumed that is also an external interface? Is this correct?
