X Forward all traffic to HP Tipping Point

Hi All,

As per subject above, objective is to forward external traffic received by Sophos UTM and redirect to HP Tipping Point for IPS scanning.
 
Does anyone have experience on how to configure or have implement design Sophos UTM with HP Tipping Point [:S]. Thanks

    Your title is a bit confusing.  X Forward is part of an HTTP header, but you want to forward all traffic?

    The simplest solution would be to put the Tipping Point into bridged/transparent mode, then set it inline with the UTM.  If this won't work, please provide a network diagram.  

    You do know that UTM has IPS, right?

    Apologies for the title, I was typing this thread using mobile, reason is customer just purchase HP Tipping Point for dedicated IPS to offload UTM process and more IPS feature available compare Sophos UTM.

    Any other method to reroute traffic toTipping Point if the device was not configured as bridge or transparent. Thanks

    Without knowing the specifics of the topology or the current TP networking options...you could try a gateway route policy route to send the traffic to the TP.  Although dated and for another purpose (using a different Web Proxy with the UTM), the concept is very similar (sending traffic to another device for processing) to  https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/114061.aspx.  The settings for routes haven't changed, so should still be valid.

    Is the TP in inline/bridged/active (IPS) mode or passive (sniffing) mode?

    If it's not inline/bridged it's not going to be able to block anything (IDS only, not IPS).
